Understand the business
Start with your services, your customers, and the information people need before they inquire.
American-owned. Globally operated.
A husband-and-wife business bringing website experience, thoughtful design, and practical ongoing care to the people behind the business.
Tell us about your websiteThe people behind the work
We’re a husband-and-wife team: Kevin leads Web Space Works USA, and Jo-Anne leads Web Space Works South Africa. Web Space Works connects our experience and care for the details across both sides of the business.
For us, a website starts with the person running the business. What do you offer? What do your customers need to understand? What should happen when someone is ready to contact you? Those questions shape the work before a layout or a line of code does.
Our South African business is Web Space Works South Africa . The shared name reflects a shared approach: clear communication, considered work, and a website that remains useful as the business develops.
Experience across different kinds of business
Since 2012, Kevin’s website work has ranged from independent family businesses to professional sports organizations operating at a multibillion-dollar scale. That experience also spans major U.S. electrical suppliers, professional services, and entertainment and media.
Our work includes custom website builds and rebuilds, WordPress performance engineering, technical investigation and repairs, and SEO and AI search optimization. Monthly maintenance is one defined service; more complex projects are assessed and scoped separately.
Different organizations bring different requirements. A small service business may need a clear explanation and a dependable inquiry route. A larger organization may have more stakeholders, content, and review responsibilities. Understanding those differences helps define the right scope.
We respect the confidentiality of that work, so client names and identifying project details are kept private.

The web keeps moving
A year on the web can feel like the leap from a Model T to an electric sports car. Technology evolves, expectations rise, and new ways to serve customers emerge.
We keep learning, testing, and refining how we build and maintain websites. As new approaches prove their value, we apply them to our projects and recommend meaningful improvements to our clients—from faster performance and better usability to clearer visibility in search and AI.
We review what your website needs today, agree on the work, and check the implementation. That might mean a clearer structure, faster loading, better service information, or a defined maintenance routine.
Improvements should have a purpose. We connect design and technology decisions to how people use the website and how your team keeps it current.

For agencies
We also discuss white-label website support with agencies that need additional capacity for a clearly defined project or ongoing work.
Before work starts, we agree on scope, responsibilities, access, communication, confidentiality, and how the client relationship is handled. Your agency’s role and relationship with its client remain central to that agreement.
Share the requirement and the way you work. We’ll assess the fit and define the proposed contribution before making a commitment.
