Website design & redesign

A better website.
Built around your business.

Custom WordPress website design and redesign for small businesses that need a clearer, faster, more useful website.

What we do

Starting fresh or ready for a change?

Whether you need a new website or a redesign, we start with your goals and define the work clearly.

New Website Design

A custom WordPress website built around your business, audience, and goals.

Website Redesign

A fresh structure and design for an existing website, with content and migration requirements agreed first.

Performance-first Development

Efficient code, carefully delivered assets, and testing across the important page types.

Clear Structure & Calls to Action

Logical navigation, readable content, and useful next steps for your visitors.

Is this the right service?

A rebuild should solve a business problem—not just change the colors.

A new website or redesign starts with the visitor’s task: understanding your services, finding the right information, and taking the next step. We review what should stay, what should change, and how the site will be managed after launch. The proposal turns those decisions into a defined project.

  • A new website, an outdated site, or an existing WordPress rebuild.
  • A defined set of page types, features, and visitor actions.
  • Clear responsibility for copy, photography, approvals, and integrations.
  • An agreed editing approach and handoff after launch.

The work, clearly explained

Plan the details that make the finished website useful.

Content and page structure

Define the pages the business needs, how they connect, and the questions each should answer. We agree on content responsibilities and identify material that can be reused, revised, or replaced before the design is expanded across the site.

A coherent responsive design

Develop the visual system and important page layouts together, including typography, buttons, spacing, navigation, and mobile behavior. Approved layouts guide the build so the website feels like one product rather than a collection of unrelated pages.

A practical launch and handoff

Check the agreed page types, forms, links, and important functions before launch. We define the editing method, ownership of the relevant accounts, and the handoff materials in the proposal. Ongoing maintenance can be arranged as a separate service.

Clear scope. No surprises.

Every project starts with an agreed proposal, deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and handoff. Hosting, ongoing care, and ongoing SEO are scoped separately.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers.

A few useful details before we talk about your website.

Should I redesign my website or improve the one I have?

That depends on the current structure, content, software, and business requirements. A focused improvement may be enough when the foundation is sound. A rebuild may make more sense when navigation, editing, design, or functionality needs substantial change. We review the website before recommending a project scope.

What determines the price of a new website or redesign?

The quote depends on the page types, content work, functionality, integrations, migration needs, and review requirements. We define those items before development. A simple service website and a site with custom workflows are different projects; we do not hide that difference behind an undefined page-count package.

Can you keep my existing branding and content?

Yes, where it is suitable for the new website and you have the rights to use it. We review the logo, colors, photographs, copy, and existing pages together. The proposal identifies what will be retained, revised, supplied by you, or created as part of the project.

Will the website work well on phones and tablets?

Responsive layouts are part of the build. We check navigation, readable text, buttons, forms, and important content at relevant screen widths. Mobile design is considered throughout the layout process, rather than left as a final shrink-down of the desktop page.

Will I be able to edit the website after launch?

We agree on the editing approach before the build. Elementor can be used where visual editing is required, while custom templates may suit pages with tighter design or performance requirements. The handoff explains the agreed editing workflow; ongoing changes can also be handled through a separately scoped care plan.

What happens to my current URLs and search visibility during a rebuild?

We review existing URLs and identify migration requirements before launch. Where URLs change and continuity is needed, appropriate redirects and related checks belong in the agreed migration scope. We do not promise unchanged rankings, and we avoid assuming an existing site has no search history without checking.

Do you include copywriting, photography, forms, or third-party integrations?

The proposal states exactly which of those items are included and who supplies or approves them. Forms and integrations need more than visual design: access, configuration, testing, and any third-party costs must be considered. We confirm those requirements before treating them as part of the build.

What happens after the website launches?

You receive the agreed handoff and editing guidance. Hosting, software licenses, ongoing maintenance, SEO, and future development are identified separately in the proposal. If you want us to care for the site, the WordPress maintenance plan can be reviewed alongside the build so responsibilities are clear from day one.
